Mission Statement
Supporters
of Worcester Area Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer-Questioning
and Straight Youth is a youth-led, adult-supported social support agency
for GLBTQQS youth and their allies 22 and under. SWAGLY provides a safe,
healthy, non-exploitive, pressure-free space for youth to socialize, share,
learn and discuss issues pertaining to life as a GLBTQQS youth. All events
and activities are youth-planned and organized. Such opportunities provided
by SWAGLY reduce isolation, build self esteem, promote community building,
and foster linkages with GLBTQQS communities and the community at large.
Here at SWAGLY we believe very much in helping Gay Youth! We know just how bad it can get in school and other places when you are openly gay because we face it every day! Here at SWAGLY we work to help end that Bullying that no one deserves by connecting with you on a personal level. Where we can say honestly, we know how you feel. So remember, you are NOT ALONE!
